One of the COLORCUBE'S proposed higher functions is the ability to represent the gamut/color capacity of various reprodcuctive technologies. For instance, this 6x6x6 model maps the Netscape® color space which totals 216 distinct colors. Creating a COLORCUBE for every printer, monitor, digital camera etc. would be very useful for consumers comparing the performance of competing products.
